Day 38: Low Voter Turnout

Okay, so I am really surprised.  In the wake of our recent, "historical" election, I am surprised that more people have not voted on what is one of the most important issues of the day:  whether I should have a piece of pie at Thanksgiving.

As of right now, only 12 people have voted--and I know a few of you have voted more than once.  The first vote actually came from Trish, who is kind of my Live the Life sensei  (she helped create the diet and lets me email her with questions or problems).  Of course she voted no.  Several people have voted yes too.  A couple of other people have voted no, which means that there are people that for some reason hate me, but still like reading the blog (I guess I should be flattered).

Frankly, I am more concerned about voter apathy here than I am about the outcome of the poll.  America needs your vote, I need your vote.  So, I have decided to make this as easy as possible.  This is a link to my blog.  I know that some of you are reading this post from some other location, so if you click on the link, it should take you directly to my blog.  Once you are there, look to the right-hand column.  See where it says "The Stats?"  Those are my statistics based on my starting measurements taken on October 4, 2010.  Look at them, nod your head and say to yourself "Wow, Jeff, you really are doing great on this diet!"  Now, look down a little and you will see something that says "Should I Eat a Piece of Pumpkin Pie on Thanksgiving?"  Click on the blue line that says "Vote on this poll" and vote.  For those of you who do not have the energy to move your mouse back up to the link to my blog, here it is again

Remember:  Vote early and vote often, just as long as you are voting the way I want you to.

I will tell you that I voted no. Not because I hate you, but because I like to see you suffer.

Okay, really, it's because you don't need it. You want it. But you don't need it. Step away from the pie Jeff.

A diet is one thing, self immolation is quite another! To "earn" a wonderful meal on Thanksgiving, complete with dessert, I always have a good exercise session Thanksgiving morning, and another good one the day after Thanksgiving. These sessions alone burn approximately 2,000 calories, so I don't worry about the pie (which is my case is vegan anyway and doesn't carry all the calories of a normal pumpkin pie). Good luck!

Tell the yesses to stop voting!! If I could only rememebr how to clear my "cookies," I would vote NO multiple times each hour! GO JEFF GO. Resist the pie; continue your healthy ways!
