Day 143: Maintenance

Okay, it has been two weeks since my last post.  I have been so busy, I just haven't had a chance to sit down and write anything.  Actually, I have gotten so into that stupid show lost that all I find myself doing with my extra time is watching it.  It makes me really mad--I really don't even watch television all that much.  Fortunately, I started the last season this weekend, so hopefully it will all be over soon. 

Anyway, I have been in maintenance mode the last few weeks, probably as a result of a lot of different things going on in my life.  When I realized that today is Day 143, I was a little disappointed in myself.  I mean, with Day 150 coming up, it would have been nice to have something to show for the last two months.  As it is, I haven't really lost much.  Fortunately, I haven't gained much either.  I am about where I was when I finished the initial diet at the end of December.

So, to jump start things, I am getting back into the diet today.  I am doing what I would call a modified Live the Life diet.  Yes, it requires a few more eggs and two scoops of protein powder instead of one, but hey, I have had worse.  Hopefully this will kick things back into gear and I can lose a little more.  As it is, I am looking pretty good, but I know I could look a lot better.  Keep in tune for more information on this new diet over the next few weeks.

By the way, Happy Birthday Dad!  I know you probably aren't going to read this, so you can forget me eating a piece of cake in your honor!

I'm back on as well! I just finished my meal prep for this week and I burned all my BBQ chicken. Sometimes I just want to give up... Keep up your blog, it motivates me!
