I got a great question from Jenn the last week. She asked: "Are you in danger of gaining weight back after you finish the Cut Diet and go back to Living the Life."
The quick answer: Yes, I am.
The long answer: I think you are always in danger of gaining weight back when you do a diet that promotes quick weight loss. In this case, however, the Cut Diet and Live the Life are so similar, that I think if I ease back into eating more carbs through Live the Life, I will be fine. Plus, the Cut Diet has a carb loading day every three days, so it isn't like I don't eat any carbs. Most of my carbs during non-carb loading days are made up of broccoli and green beans (which means I am not really eating any carbs, maybe 12 or so per serving).
At this point, my plan is to finish up with the Cut Diet on or about March 21. At that point, I will stop the carb loading day and start adding carbs in (slowly) in the morning. I think that within a week or so, I should be able to transition back into my normal diet (which is also relatively carb-low) and be fine.
I think this sounds reasonable? Does anyone else have any ideas? If you do, I would love to hear them.
