Yesterday was the kickoff for the "Lose Big, Win Big!" challenge at the gym. The gym is giving away $10,000 to the person who can look the best after 12 weeks. Since this is a national gym (well, mainly in DC, New York, and Chicago), I have not bothered to even think about it, since there will definitely be someone who deserves $10,000 more than me.
The real irony was that they had a bunch of bagels with cream cheese as a kickoff snack. Here is my question: How does a bagel, with 360 calories and 71 carbs--loaded with asiago cheese on top and cream cheese in the middle--help a fat person kickoff a weight loss program?
